Compound Bow
The compound bow is one of the most identifiable of archery instruments that uses a levering system of strings and pulleys designed to assist in drawing the bow and delivering the arrow with superior speed and comfort.
One of the greatest distinguishing features of the modern compound bow is the cam system at the end of the bow limbs. The cams of compound bows are designed to increase weight on the string only until it reaches a set maximum, at which time the weight "lets off" allowing the shooter to draw the bow back with significantly less effort required.
Compound Archery has a wide range of compound bows available across the leading bow makers.
